Bruno Metsu also known as Abdul Karim is a French football manager and the head coach of the national team of Qatar. He is perhaps most notable in Europe for coaching Senegal to a surprise victory over France in the opening match of the 2002 FIFA World Cup. After retiring as a player, he took up the assistant manager post at his last club, Beauvais Oise, and by 1988 had become full-time manager of the club. He spent over a decade coaching in France before his first foray into international management.

Yusuf Islam commonly known by his former stage name Cat Stevens, is a British musician. He is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, educator, philanthropist, and prominent convert to Islam. His early 1970s record albums Tea for the Tillerman and Teaser and the Firecat were both certified as Triple Platinum by the RIAA in the United States; his album Catch Bull at Four sold half a million copies in the first two weeks of release alone, and was Billboard’s number-one LP for three consecutive weeks. He has also earned two ASCAP songwriting awards in consecutive years, for “The First Cut Is the Deepest”, which has been a hit single for four different artists.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (born Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor) is an American retired basketball player, coach, actor and author. During his 20-year professional career in the NBA, he scored the highest points total of any player in league history (38,387), in addition to winning a record six Most Valuable Player Awards and six NBA championships. He was known for his “skyhook” shot, which was famously difficult to block. Abdul-Jabbar’s success began well before his professional career; in college at UCLA, he played on three championship teams, and his high school team won 71 consecutive games. In his NBA career, he played for the Milwaukee Bucks for six seasons and then with the Los Angeles Lakers for fourteen seasons.

MikeTysonMike Tyson also known as Abdel Malek Aziz is a retired American boxer. He was the undisputed heavyweight champion and remains the youngest man ever to win the WBC, WBA and IBF world heavyweight titles. He won the WBC title at just 20 years, 4 months and 22 days old, after defeating Trevor Berbick by a TKO in the second round. Throughout his career, Tyson became well-known for his ferocious and intimidating boxing style as well as his controversial behavior both inside and outside the ring. He was the first ever heavyweight champion to hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles simultaneously.

Shakib আমিও উদ্বেলিত হয়েছিলাম খবরটা পড়ে। যেকোন ক্রিকেটপ্রেমীরই তা হবার কথা। ক্রিকেটের বাইবেল, উইজডেন – বর্ষসেরার স্বীকৃতি দিয়েছে আমাদের সাকিবকে। স্বপ্ন আরে স্বম্ভাবনার অপমৃত্যু যেখানে স্বাভাবিক, সেখানে সাকিব উজ্জ্বল ব্যতিক্রম। দুর্দান্ত প্রতিভার ট্যাগ থাকা স্বত্ত্বেও মেহরাব হোসেন অপি, আল শাহরিয়ার রোকন হারিয়ে গেছেন অজানায়। দুনিয়া কাঁপানো সেঞ্চুরি দিয়ে শুরুর পরও আশরাফুল, কেন যেন ভীষণ এলোমেলো, অধারাবাহিক। তবে সাকিব অন্য ধাতুতে গড়া। সবকিছুকে ‘সহজভাবে’ নিতে পারাই হয়ত এর পেছনের কারন।

মোহাম্মদ ইউসুফের চেয়ে বুম বুম আফ্রিদি অনেক বেশি আলোচিত। সাকিব অনেকটা একই কারনে সতীর্থ আশরাফুল, মাশরাফি কিংবা তামিমের মতো রঙীন কোন নাম নয়। সাকিব শান্ত, এলিগেন্ট।
